Sinterklaas is coming to Los Angeles!

Our 2018 Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) party will be held on Sunday December 2nd, in Cypress. Ticket sales will start in November and we will be sending out invitations via email via our mailing list. Click here if you are not yet our list and would like to receive an invitation.

As the story goes, Sinterklaas will be coming by boat and will hit a rainbow on it's way to Los Angeles. Through the rainbow, a remarkable change takes place and all the pieten (his helpers) will each be changed into one the rainbow's colors! The Sinterklaas party is an important fundraiser for our school and of course, it will also be a big event for the entire Dutch community in Southern California.

When will Sinterklaas arrive?
Sinterklaas will arrive Sunday December 2nd 2018 in Cypress. The party is over the lunch hour, starts at 11am and lasts until 2:30pm. The doors of the venue will open right at 11am so make sure you arrive on time to welcome Sinterklaas to California.

Tickets at the door

Children from 0 to 12 years old                        Online tickets: $35                  
Adults and children older than 12                     Online tickets: $30

Keep in mind that there will be a limited number of tickets available at the door because we only have so much food for lunch (the kitchen is only so big!). If we run out of lunch tickets, we will make a number of tickets available without lunch, at a reduced price.

Raffle and Silent Auction

As in previous years we will have a very nice selection of silent auction items. So if you want a chance to bid on some great baskets and items and would like to buy some raffle tickets, please bring cash or credit card.

The proceeds of the Silent Auction and the Raffle will benefit the Dutch School of Southern California. We are a non-profit organization and very much need your support to continue to provide quality Dutch language education to our children.
